!! OMG, keep it under your towel: Locker Room Sex !!

Bobo at FeyFriends has published a rant about his unwanted encounters with public fornicators HERE which led me to THIS article about cruising etiquette that inspired his rant:

Straight guys deserve to take a shower without someone staring directly at their naked bodies while stroking their own cock. Gay guys who prefer to use the steam room for its health purposes deserve to go in the steam room and not be leered at, or be forced to witness guys jerking off. Just because you know someone is gay does not mean they should automatically be included in the action.

So all you gays who are tempted by the wiles of gym sex after your New Year’s Resolution workouts take others into account!

  1. Hey. The radical of one century is the conservative of the next. The radical invents the views. When he has worn them out the conservative adopts them.
I am from Republic and now study English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: “Admabluescreen is the right place to spend your holidays in lebanon.”
    Best regards :(, Raizel.

  2. Wow. Reading some of the comments so far I can better understand the origin of calling queers ‘queens’, as in ‘DRAMA!’
If you’re in a spot that isn’t a bath-house, a sex-friendly theatre/store, or otherwise clearly a sexual zone, show some fucking discretion. That’s just common courtesy.
Otherwise, go nuts, and suck mine while you’re at it. Thanks.

  3. We can argue both sides forever, but here’s the thing…there should be some sort of register that you should be put on, if ever convicted of a lewd act in a gym. This register should be sent out to every gym within a 10 mile radius of your home. This will make you think twice about having sex at the gym…or anywhere in public. Besides, isn’t sex in public against the law? I have NO problem reporting lewd acts to the proper authorities at my gym.

Add another vote for “try another gym”. NYSC is the gayest gym in New York and virtually everybody knows it. Try the Midtown Crunch.
“And while we’re dealing generational cards, wasn’t it the previous generations’ sexual practices that fostered the single largest setback in history for the movement?”
Oh, dear. I did not just read that. So AIDS was all our fault. How interesting that yesterdays religious bigotry is now today’s insight. Vomitous.
And isn’t it interesting that the original bloggers and some of the responses seem to insinuate that the problem they have is not the sexual action, but the fact that its older men and men with–EWWW!–facial hair that are partaking.
Look youngsters: Stick. Ass. Remove. Immediately. And stop turning New York into such a bore!

  5. Why can’t guys just go to the bathhouse if they want to get laid? It’s there for a reason, people. And the only gay cruisers I’ve ever seen in the locker room have not been “today’s youth.” They’re usually closer to my dad’s age than mine.

  6. Maybe you’re going to the wrong gym?? I’ve never belonged to gym in my life where I ever saw anything illicit going on. But there are certainly gyms in my area that are kind of known as “gay” or “cruisy” gyms.

“today’s gay youth has set our movement back 20 years!”
Yes, because it really is the youth that have no sexual opportunities other than gym action. Right. I’m guessing the worst offenders here are actually 35+.
And while we’re dealing generational cards, wasn’t it the previous generations’ sexual practices that fostered the single largest setback in history for the movement?

  8. oh yeah, TODAY’s youth are the ones who have no decency…
actually today’s gays are so fucking uptight that i sometimes can’t believe it. i long for the days when gay sex was there, on the street, in the saunas, etc etc. now it seems it’s manhunt or nothing.
keep the sexual energy alive. more sex everywhere.
    thanks guys.

  9. I’m afraid not, Chad. I can’t say this enough…today’s gay youth has set our movement back 20 years! Sad, sad, sad.

  10. There’s nothing wrong with that rant. It’s true. You go to the gym to workout and relax not to see people trying to jack each other off and screw any chance they got. Honestly…do people have NO decency anymore?

  11. nicestdionysus | January 8, 2009 at 3:59 pm | Reply

Oh, get over yourself, Mary! Queens who grope around in the saunas are life-loving people who are keeping the spirit of gay sex alive. It’s nice to see there are still some mo’s who haven’t sold their sexual expression to Internet Explorer. Don’t like it? Just close your eyes and dream of conformity.

  12. Bobo needs to find another gym… like Curves for Women. I’m sure he’ll be left alone there.

  13. Yes of course! I see my wording might have been misleading…fixed to reflect the true order.

  14. Hey Graydon! To be clear, that article was published before–and actually inspired–my rant, not the other way around.
