I used to love Portuguese-Canadian singer Nelly Furtado back when she was a nerdy hippie chick. “Turn Out the Lights” and “I’m Like a Bird” were such catchy and original pop gems. Though the last six years haven’t yielded another really great song, the good news is that since she’s gone all sexy with her new album “Loose” and new single “Promiscuous,” Nelly is all about giving the goodies away for free; she even asked me to help!
That is why I will be giving away an autographed Nelly Furtado poster and a vinyl record of “Loose” to the winner of this very special !! omg blog !! contest.
All you have to do is rewrite the lyrics to the chorus of Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous.” Make it funny, serious, whacky, biting, whatever you want really. But above all else, please make it rhyme. Here are the original lyrics:
Promiscuous girl / Wherever you are / I’m all alone / And it’s you that I want
Promiscuous boy / You already know / That I’m all yours / What you waiting for?
Promiscuous girl / You’re teasing me / You know what I want / And I got what you need
Promiscuous boy / Let’s get to the point / Cause we’re on a roll / Are you ready?
Submit your own version of the chorus along with your mailing address here. The winner of the Promiscuous Goods will be decided by me and announced some time next week. Good luck, all you pretty songbirds.
OMG!!!! send me a picture of Orlando’s butt!!!!!

Shoe Links for the Day
Whoa Nelly – Nelly likes to strut in heels, although the thought of her singing Promiscuous at an AIDS benefit may be a little ironic. Shoelover ain’t passing judgement, Shoelover’s just sayin’; If it is the first week of university
i am asking for forgivness and a moment of silence for that last comment. it was a pathetic attempt at humor and i failed miserably. back to the shecky green comedy school for me.

OMG, he’s naked: Orlando Bloom
Handsome Brit Orlando Bloom has worked many odd looks on the silver screen, from long-haired blonde elf to goateed pirate, but I think I prefer him as a clean-shaven, short-haired rentboy in Midsomer Murders (2000). The best part is you catch a glimps…
