!! OMG, quote of the day: Howard Stern says Oprah flashes her wealth insensitively !!

“Oprah’s not embarrassed by her wealth at all. She loves showing it off on Instagram. You see her estates, her gardens, the people who service her and, you know… She’s got servants and, like, people cooking and it’s fucking wild. She knows how to be rich… She kind of likes to show it off, which is something I’m not comfortable with. I don’t think that people should show off their wealth.”

He charged the media mogul lacked “self-awareness” for showcasing her opulent lifestyle while “there are people struggling out there…

Stern, who is worth a purported $650 million, continued, “I make a good living, and I’m having trouble watching Oprah. I go, wow. Look what’s going on over there? Her estate is unbelievable. When she goes shopping, she goes shopping in her backyard cause everything is growing back there. There’s a farm back there.”

To Winfrey’s credit, Stern praised her philanthropic efforts with the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, a school she founded in South Africa in 2007. Stern said of “the African gals” attending Winfrey’s school, “They believe Oprah’s God because let me tell you, she provides, she gives them an education. She gives them meals, don’t ask. They love her. And it, it’s impressive. I gotta be honest. I mean, you know, it’s real charity work.”

  1. Bitter

  2. Wow go attack cis yt male billionaires don’t come for Oprah. Howard stern retire already.

  3. Coming for one of the few black female billionaires. Sus. Get off your high horse and give up your multiple homes worth 186 million dollars, Howard “performative outrage” Stern.

  4. JEALOUSY IS A BITHC IS NOT HOWARD STERN????

  5. Ophrah’s school is, I’m sure, some type of tax right-off. People of her wealth don’t do anything because of kindness, everything is about making money.

The bill & melinda gates foundation and the whole billionaires giving away their wealth thing is a big ole scam. A brilliant one at that. It has just enough of a whiff of propriety to seem legit while making them loads of bank.

  6. For the person who brought us Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz without any regret or remorse, I have little compassion for Oprah.

  7. This story is st least a month old.
