A new series from multi-Emmy Award winner David E. Kelley is on the way, adapted from the bestselling novel “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.” It’s a bold, heartwarming, comedic family drama that follows Margo (Fanning), a recent college dropout and aspiring writer, as she tries to keep her head above water with a new baby, a growing stack of bills, and fewer and fewer ways to pay them.
Margo comes from a complicated, larger-than-life family. She’s the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress (Pfeiffer) and an ex-pro wrestler (Offerman), and she’s forced to figure out adulthood fast, with no safety net and no time to pretend she has it all together.
The cast is stacked, too. Alongside Fanning, Pfeiffer, and Offerman, the series also stars Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear, as well as Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington.
