Kid Cudi has officially given M.I.A. the boot from his Rebel Ragers Tour after she decided opening sets were the perfect time for political monologues — spoiler alert, they are NOT.
During the Dallas stop at Dos Equis Pavilion on May 2, M.I.A. launched into a rant that included telling the crowd she’d been canceled for being a Republican voter, and then — oh yes, it gets worse — reportedly made comments about “illegals” possibly being in the audience. Shockingly, the crowd was not here for it and responded with a chorus of boos!
Cudi said he’d actually warned her team before the tour even started that he didn’t want anything offensive at his shows, so the man literally tried to prevent this exact scenario! After being flooded with messages from upset fans, Cudi made the call and announced the split on Instagram. And because M.I.A. is nothing if not M.I.A., she fired back on X in an all-caps tirade invoking Jesus, Satan, and her entire discography. Ma’am, this is a concert tour, not a sermon! Anyway, the Rebel Ragers Tour rolls on — just with one less rager.
