Gotham’s about to get gooey. The full trailer for DC’s Clayface just dropped, and it’s leaning all the way into body horror.
Tom Rhys Harries stars as Matt Hagen, an ambitious actor whose Hollywood dreams curdle after a gangster’s attack leaves his face disfigured. Enter Naomi Ackie as a scientist with an experimental serum that promises to fix everything and instead does the opposite, turning Hagen into Gotham’s most tragic shape-shifting monster.

In Carpenter’s 1988 classic, Roddy Piper puts on sunglasses and finally sees the truth: OBEY, CONSUME, aliens running the show. In 2026, the glasses come pre-loaded with the aliens, retail for a premium, and Kylie’s face is on the box. The spoof’s tagline says it all: “We’re always watching.”
The original ad was already catching heat from critics who called it a fashionable face on surveillance, so the parody didn’t have to reach far… it just had to hold up a mirror with a slightly grainier VHS filter.
