…and it starts shooting next month! Showtime President David Nevins reassured fans that the show is happening for suresies and SOON!
“I want it as badly and as soon as the biggest fans in the world want it,” he told journalists during the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. “I’m hoping we make 2016. It’s not clear. It’s ultimately going to be in [series co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost’s] control. They’re going to shoot the whole thing and then they’ll start posting. Bottom line is, I’ll take it when they’re ready with it … but I’m hoping sooner rather than later.”
OMG, we can’t wait! We can’t wait! The show may also run longer than was originally anticipated!
They plan to shoot it as one giant block, which means they’ll be cutting it into discrete episodes in the editing room once they’re finished. The series was originally supposed to run for nine episodes, but Nevins won’t be sure how many blocks he’ll be given until filming is complete.
I”m so ready for some Madchen Ammick glamour!
