They have some VERY VERY GOOD sets from the prime clubs of the disco era in SF like the Troc, Bones, End Up, etc. Worth a look and a total nostalgic throwback.
These recordings are culturally significant – they capture a place and time as live as we can get it through the sounds of that night. In the 80s most of these were lost/destroyed as the allure of disco was no more and nobody saw the value. Folks, this is history!
OK, I’ll say it: How can you possibly feel sweet nostalgia when everybody’s dead? If not AIDS, then suicide or drugs or alcohol or tobacco or, sometimes, just stopping having the will to live. I wouldn’t relive those years for a $1M Harry Winston from Prince Harry.
Thank you so much for allowing me to relive the best and worst days of my life. We lived we danced then we went to war.

I may have HIV, but I’m still alive! I was 22 when this was recorded!
