Legendary disco composer Giorgio Moroder is set to drop his first album in over 30 years titled 74 Is the New 24 via RCA Records this spring 2015, and the album is packed full on contemporary guests like Charli XCX, Sia, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko, Foxes, Matthew Koma, and more! Moroder most recently collaborated on Daft Punk‘s last album.
“Dance music doesn’t care where you live,” Moroder said of the new track. “It doesn’t care who your friends are. It doesn’t care how much money you make. It doesn’t care if your 74 or if you are 24 because… 74 is the new 24!”
Check out the first sneak peak of the single below! It’s giving me a very Euro, Kraftwerk-meets-ZOMBIE NATION-meets-easy-listening type vibe, which I’m feeling.
