Was I the only person to ask, “Who?” when actor Sean Maher publicly came out of the closet in an interview with Entertainment Weekly? Maher plays a closeted married man on NBC’s The Playboy Club and previously appeared on Firefly, Party of Five, CSI: Miami and Human Target. Turns out the actor has been with his partner Paul for almost nine years has two children, Sophia, 4, and Liam, 14 months. So, yeah, now we know.

Anyone who watches intelligent, well written television knows who he is.
I lusted after him on Firefly. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a wonderful sci-fi show that was sadly canceled.

Oh! I saw this on a different site yesterday, and I also thought “Who?”, but the Firefly mention just jogged my memory. He was the uber-hot doctor with the somewhat crazy sister on the ship. Niiiice.
He’s also had a recurring role on Make It or Break It. Which, as we all know, is serious television.
