Harry Potter must have really looked up to Dumbledore because Daniel Radcliffe has given a sizable donation to a gay suicide helpline:
The actor Daniel Radcliffe gave his support yesterday to a US charity that helps suicidal young gay men and women. The Harry Potter star made a large donation to the Trevor Project, which runs a 24-hour helpline offering support to “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning” young people. Radcliffe, 20, who recently told Attitude magazine that he loathed homophobia, said he hoped his support would raise the charity’s profile. The Trevor Project was set up by the creators of the 1994 Oscar-winning short film Trevor, a comedy-drama about a gay 13-year-old who tries to kill himself.

Thanks Kevy!
Interesting. Wasn’t Daniel Radcliff recently quoted spewing some homophobic remarks? Something to do with him never playing a gay role?
U go baby!
