London-based Marina and the Diamonds (which as far as we can tell is made up of Welsh singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis) has released a new video for her new single “Hollywood,” which aside from being insanely catchy, features awesome lyrics like:
American Queen is the American Dream / Hollywood infected your brain / You wanna kiss it in the rain / Oh oh, I’ve been living in a movie scene / Thinking American dreams / Oh oh, I’m obsessed with the mess that’s America
Marina’s first album “Family Jewels” drops February 15, 2010 and I think she is going to be big.
Her single “Mowgli’s Road” gives me shades of Kate Bush at her best, and the video is very cute. Watch it after the jump.
