London’s Horse Meat Disco is billed as “the queer party for everyone; Homos and Heteros, club kids, bears, fashionistas, naturists, guerrilla drag queens and ladies who munch.” In other words, it’s an old school gay disco throw-down, the likes of which we haven’t seen on this side of the pond in long time.
Fortunately, the legendary Sunday night mixer’s resident DJs are headed to North America this week to play a series of parties with DFA Records founders James Murphy and Pat Mahoney. On Thursday, Dec. 11, HMD DJ Severino will hit the decks at Toronto’s Wrongbar (1279 Queen St. W) alongside Murphy at the disco party Seventh Heaven .
