!! OMG, new music, new woman: Kelly Clarkson !!

I know I’m hearing Kelly Clarkson sing (I’d know that voice anywhere — I went to the Kelly and Clay concert way back when, whatwhat), but am I seeing Kelly Clarkson? She’s so sleek, so slender, so… pretty. I guess with a new five-song VH1 Unplugged special comes a new look. Oh hey. The set airs on VH1 Friday, Nov. 18 at 11 p.m.

    She just destroyed Carrie’s version. This performance has emotion and soul in addition to the power notes, which is really all Carrie has to offer with her rendition.

    As much as I love Kelly Clarkson I don’t think she should have tried to sing Carrie Underwood’s song like this. Both are very powerful and soulful singers but Carrie’s version is untouchable in my opinion.

    I don’t know that she’s any more sleek or slender than any other time (which is part of what makes her so great and original, actually,) but she’s *certainly* pretty, and she can DAMN sing! Love her.
