A lot of sexually-suggestive shimmying went down at the Liars show at Lee’s Palace in Toronto on Wednesday night. The five-piece art rockers are best known for menacing and unsettling songs like “Plaster Casts of Everything” and “Scissor”, but in concert it’s all about multi-talented front man Angus Andrew. His ear for ambient, new age bellowing and impressively aggressive air guitar moves can only mean one possible thing: that he is the love child of Enya and Iggy Pop.
Frank was on photo duty in the mosh pit where he narrowly avoided an elbow to the face whilst attempting to capture the action. Check out the pictures and the rest of Liars’ fall tour dates after the jump.
