A couple years ago, French electronic duo Justice owned summer thanks to the inescapable “D.A.N.C.E”. This year, it looks like summer could belong to Crookers, an Italian production duo who scored a hit last year with their remix of Kid Cudi’s stoner jam “Day n’ Nite”. Their debut album Tons of Friends is due out on March 8 and, as the title suggests, it features a cavalcade of guest vocalists, including Kelis, Pitbull, Miike Snow and Rye Rye.
If I could magically choose one of its tracks to become this year’s ubiquitous club anthem, of course I would pick “Royal T”, one of two songs that feature Róisín Murphy on vocals. Thank god it leaked all over the Internet so I can listen to it 10,000 times and get totally sick of it before the good weather actually arrives.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! CANNOT STOP LISTENING!!!
