It’s that time of year again! No, not the time of year I rush to Duane Reade to binge on half-price Valentine’s candy. (That was yesterday.) This is the time of year when the new crop of Top Models is announced. I know, I know, I know. It’s so hard to draw the line between the past and the present. The truth is that I don’t even remember the last time I could begin to tell you the difference between a Naima and a Kahlen!
But this “cycle” promises to be at least slightly interesting with the addition of Vogue icon and all-around genius Andre Leon Talley to the judging lineup. The question is, will he improve Tyra’s circus, or will she turn him into just another one of her dancing bears? If the above ad is any indication, I’m not hopeful.
