March had plenty of musical treats to offer! We’re back to share with you, our favourite new releases from this month.
Lana Del Rey released her ninth studio album Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd and we’re obsessed! Evidently, the sultry singer has stepped away from her world-building of femme-fatality, troublemaking, drugs, etc. Lana carries her essence through in this album, but instead narrates from a more personal point-of-view, about subjects like familial grief and media criticisms. Our favorite track “A&W,” standing for “American Whore” has been on repeat for us! And OMG, have you seen her merch?
This month, we’ve also been shaking our ass really hard to Isabella Lovestory‘s new song “Latina.” Isabella is serving us alt-reggaeton, with a touch of electroclash revival. We dare you to try and stand still for this one! Don’t forget to check out the music video.
And on a similar wavelength, Azealia Banks has finally released her track “New Bottega.” This song opens with a hard-house beat and jumps straight into a fun-fashion-anthem where Ms. Banks name drops her new Bottega, Pra-da-da, all over YOU! Listen closely, for her convincing Italian accent!

I like these stories to find out what’s out there that’s not just disco queen music or really repetitive top 40, but can we go back to getting pieces on new music by queer artists, or at least when we get these playlists, get a mention of which – IF any – are queer artists, because those are the ones I purchase, on occasion, to support the artists.
