Some songs this month are dripping in gothique energy, perfect for summoning a sexy storm cloud. 070 Shake’s new album is a standout, especially the haunting “Song to the Siren” featuring Courtney Love. Imogen Heap also made a triumphant return with “What Have You Done to Me,” a track that feels like driving through a sultry tornado. And let’s not forget Ethel Cain—her upcoming album Perverts is serving us the Southern Gothic drama we crave, and her single “Punish” is already setting the tone.
But not every moment has to be so intense. For some silly, sassy fun, “Muah” by Cecile Natalie is something for blowing kisses showing skin and feeling flirty! “Take It Off” by Horsegiiirl is bringing the playful chaos.
