She Said Boom, the documentary about influential Toronto post-punk group Fifth Column, will screen in Los Angeles for the first time on Wednesday, December 17. The film is a must-see for anyone interested in Riot Grrrl/punk music and features interviews with Kathleen Hanna, Vaginal Davis and Bruce LaBruce, plus Fifth Column members GB Jones, Caroline Azar and Beverly Breckenridge.
In addition to this highly entertaining and informative cinematic experience, the evening will also feature a live performance by Sex Stains (a.k.a. Allison Wolfe from Bratmobile’s new band) and a DJ set by Hunx and His Punx’s Seth Bogart.
