Singer songwriter River Wild has released his first full-length album Avè’m (which means “with me” in Haitian Creole, his mother tongue). Working with producer Dean Watson (@deanerdubs), River has created a haunting and emotional folk record that showcases his distinctive songwriting, unusual melody lines, and effortlessly impressive vocals.
Contrasting the new album with his debut EP Talk the Truth, River keeps it concise:
“[Avè’m] was really personal to me. Instead of what I went through, it was more about discovering who I was.”
