Saw this movie a few months ago. It is moody, gripping and emotional. The story is confusing about whose POV is being narrated and observed but by the end it’s a beautiful and haunting tale of love, courage and defiance.
The sex scenes are graphic yet with their raw, unapologetic treatment of lust and love between two men it adds to the overall power of the movie. Highly recommend – for the beautiful male images, honest depiction of gay intimacy and the complex, yet simple pic of homoeroticism and masculine/animalistic lust.
I appreciate that Europeans, South Americans and other countries are making more gay movies than ever and the actors are far more willing and capable of nudity and naturalism than ever. I do agree, that if you are showing a couple or romance, etc., the nudity makes sense.
And I understand different taste, but so many of these men in these films, in these “Candy” posts are just average randos that if most of you queens ever saw them on the street, would pass them by. But put them in a movie, take their clothes off, and then post it on a blog and y’all will cream your panties.
