Actress Jane Fonda has always been a real one! For more than five decades, she’s used her platform with urgency and conviction, speaking out against war, championing women’s rights and gender equality, defending reproductive freedom, supporting LGBTQ+ communities, advocating for civil rights and racial justice, and, more recently, throwing her full weight behind climate activism. She’s caught shit for all of it, but it never stops her.
