Miss Kirsten Wiig will play villainess Barbara Minerva AKA Cheetah in Wonder Woman 1984 which is currently filming around D.C. and other places around the world, and will hit theaters November 2019. Check out your first look of Wiig in character on set after the jump!

Ugh. I prefer unknown actors like Gal Gadot. Bringing even mediocre names like Wiig into the equation can sink the project. Halley Berry as Storm? Aweful. Some unknown as Storm? not bad.
Next they’ll bring in 3 villains to make it even more exciting.
I really don’t like the way you guys mislead the readers into reading a story. Your title hinted that we would see Kirsten Wiig as Barbara Minerva and Cheetah. NO WHERE was there a picture of her as Cheetah. THAT is what I want to see, no an actress dressed up in a dress. BIG DEAL!
So basically they’re ripping off X-Men: Apocalypse by setting it during the 80s and they’re ripping off Batman Returns and Batman & Robin by having a frumpy secretary/scientist/archaeologist get turned into a sexy villain. I have faith in Kristen Wiig, but not in DC films.
It’s based on the Wonder Woman comics. It’s not “copying” other films, it’s taking content from the source material and incorporating it into the film.
