In an new, exclusive interview with VICE News Tonight on HBO, Roseanne Barr, creator of the ‘Roseanne’ show, opens up about her life since she was fired by ABC after making racist comments on Twitter about former aide to President Obama, Valerie Jarrett.
Roseanne’s got a lot of work to do if she wants to get the Nobel Peace Prize! LOL. Do you feel sorry for her!?
Every time I’ve seen an interview with Roseanne Barr since she was fired from her sitcom I feel like I’m being manipulated. This one is a good example.
She made the bed now she has to lie in it. Sorry, no.
I don’t know if I feel sorry for her, but I do believe she was wrongfully accused of racism. I think she’s a smart woman, who’s extremely funny, and says what she feels.
Yes, I do. She has spent decades fighting for equal rights for all. She made a mistake and apologized for it. She didn’t say her account was hacked like Joy Reid did. You have to look at her intentions and her intentions were not racist. VJ isn’t CLEARLY black. She lost her life’s work because of this.
Sadly, she’s still living in the world of not taking personal responsibility for her actions. Rather than own up and say she either meant what she tweeted or is sorry, she is going the Donald Trump route of playing victim. When you’re over the age of 40 maybe it’s time to finally grow up, and she’s well past that age.
Her apology seems incredibly insincere when she makes herself out to be a victim in the same sitting. This isn’t violating your freedom of speech. It’s the free market conservatives like her allegedly love saying, “Gross, we don’t want what you’re selling.” Everyone deserves forgiveness eventually, but her woe is me over the consequences (not whom she hurt) and continued support of the deranged occupant says why forgive someone who obviously hasn’t learned.
