Personally, I would have chosen Angelica Houston, but Angelina Jolie will be the star of Maleficent, Disney’s live-action film detailing the back-story of the black-robed Sleeping Beauty villain. Dakota Fanning is reportedly in talks to play Aurora, so at least we can be thankful the part didn’t go to Taylor Swift.

Maleficent has always been my favorite Disney villain. I’ve loved her since I saw the movie when I was in first grade. She’s cool, because she turns into a dragon. I’ve always thought this should be the next Disney cartoon to be adapted for the stage. Think of the epic style. It would be amazing! Not sure I’ll bother with this movie. Not a fan of Ms. Jolie. I think she’s nuts!
