The Day Began Yesterday (El día comenzó ayer) is a short film by Mexican director Julián Hernández that tells the love story of Orlando and Saul, two men with very different outlooks on dating: one repressed, the other living his best life.

It’s a charming story, and actors Hugo Catalan and Cristhian Díaz Cruz have incredible chemistry that makes the bedroom scenes memorable (there is toe-sucking).
