I know the actors are a few years older than their characters, but these are suppose to be high school kids. The unrealistic bodies aside, I’d prefer not to see naked characters who are meant to be under 18.
You call them unrealistic bodies and yet there are very real people right there with those types of bodies, and a lot of guys that I went to school with had physiques just like them. Obviously not everyone does, but they are depicting characters that are athletes, so the body types are absolutely within the realm of possibility.
That aside, if you don’t want to see it, then don’t watch it, problem solved.

It was a flashback, maybe 30ish years prior to the current timeline of the show.
Maybe not where you are, but these types of open, communal showers very much still exist.

Honestly, this little story, the cold-opener for Euphoria Season 2, episode 3 – was so good. Better than “Call me by your name” and even sadder. It’s such a great backstory for Cal and what made him how he is, unjust forbidden love. The love between these two high school best friends, stopped short from homophobia and leading into adult lives was well written. Now, I hope to see follow ups to this storyline..
