ROSALÍA, Björk and Yves Tumor create a symphony for a modern day Snow White in their new video for BERGHAIN. Its title references the Berlin club Berghain, and the song is described as moving away from her previous experimental reggaeton-pop sound toward something “ethereal, spiritual, and orchestral”.
According to coverage in Los40, the lyrics engage with themes of duality between desire and redemption, vulnerability and power, using the club-space metaphor of Berghain as a “temple where the self dissolves into collective” and the night becomes ritual. Check it out above!
