!! OMG, are we buying it? Formula 1 champ Lewis Hamilton says he refuses to skirt the issue !!

Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton shamed his nephew for wearing a princess dress last December, saying:

“I’m so sad right now, look at my nephew. Why are you wearing a princess dress? Is this what you got for Christmas? Why did you ask for a princess dress for Christmas? Boys don’t wear princess dresses!”

Hamilton later apologized, but was called out again for liking comments agreeing with his initial opinion after the apology. Now, in a new interview in British GQ interview, Hamilton says:

“I still hold regret for it today, but ultimately I think it’s important in life for people to be held accountable for their actions and particularly their words, and I was… I wouldn’t have grown if I hadn’t fallen and stumbled and gotten back up.”

Check out his recent spread from GQ where he dones different kilts to try and prove his ally-ship with the dress wearing boys community. Thoughts!?

  1. I suppose more effs would have been given if, somewhere on either of those mannish outfits, there was at least ONE scrap of the tartan for Clan Hamilton, but alas, no. Had he shown up on the magazine cover in full-on Disney(R) Princess including hair and makeup, at least one eff would have been given. As it is presented though, the eff bucket is empty. We have some nice parting gifts: a subscription to GQ and a stopwatch showing 14:59.0099. His fifteen minutes are up.

  2. A Kilt is not a skirt or a dress. They aren’t the same at all. He should have stayed wherever he’d fucked off to.

  3. LOLOL It looks like a type of homemade kilt….so what if he’s happy in it, then its ok! I’ve seen a few college students wear a type of kilt. Some are dressy looking and some look like a work kilt. It keeps the family jewels aired out lolol

  4. Wait? What? I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that there is a minority as a Formula 1 driver!

  5. He’s hardly making an effort – kilts and dresses aren’t the same thing. He’s doing this purely for his own image/brand.

  6. I THINK HE LOOKS VERY NICE!

  7. Column A, column B. Shitty thing for him to do but also good if he’s learning. Just don’t know that I’m going to applaud anyone for learning the compassion that many of us seem to have from the outset. Who shames a child?

    • HG, agreed and agreed. Here’s a medal for being a halfway decent human

    • Lots of people will shame a child,it used to be a common practice and even advised still ,shame a child and they will conform, don’t worry that it will cause lifelong damage to the child.
