Whispers? On SNL they dedicated a whole skit to him where Arianna,and Cher sang him a very long and intentional farewell. It was the biggest send off anyone has ever had live on the show. They talked about how sometimes he was funny, sometimes he sucked, most of his material was cut, and the audience thought he was too gay at times, but he was just right for Cher and Ari. He cried, it was emotional. THAT seemed pretty official, no?
