First off, violence prone films in the US is what should garner a R rating. It should also be the context of a sex scene not the sex scene itself. Rape, violence is quite different than something in the context of love or affection. If a scene between a male and a female would be permitted, so should a scene between two males.

I guess the studio wants the film’s producers to dumb down the film so 13 year olds
can see it. its kind like reviving Queen members requesting BR being dumbed down so
’12 year olds can see it.
I wish they would keep those scenes in. For starters I can’t think of too many young people who’d actually want to see an Elton John Bio pic (No offense to him). There target audience should be the LGBT and female community. There will still be a lot straight male audience who won’t see. I just hope they don’t water it down too much at this point
I am sure Taron Egerton had fun filming those scenes. If you follow the Hollywood blinds, you know like so many he is a big closet case. I hope we get to see them, even if there is a director’s cut on bluray.
Ellen, oh how I hate when one of our apples goes bad. What you see on screen, the PR, all THAT, makes Ellen out to be the nice, fun loving person we all THOUGHT she was. In reality, when the cameras go off, she is a MONSTER (titled that by many,) on set and off. There are many celebs who HATE her, including Seinfeld. They are forced by their managers to do interviews and/or work with her at times, and many hate it, and sometimes it shows on their faces during live TV.
She also has some sort of gambling nights at her house. She greets her guest with wit and smiles. At a recent game, one guest wasn’t able to keep up with the stakes…
