Like with Lady Ga Ga, I am just not a fan of Billie Elish. I was trying to figure out what it was that was annoying me about her music, when I caught the “New Rules” segment on “Real Time with Bill Maher”. It was pretty spot on about not being able to understand what it is she is singing.
It’s not generational, she just sucks as a performer. Like Ga Ga, whom I cannot STAND.
I listen to Lizzo and I think “She’s the next Queen Latifa” – range, control, adaption, soul. I hear none of that with Billie and even less with Ga Ga.
