RIP to the legendary Dame Jane Goodall, who swung off this mortal coil this week at the age of 91. Jane was out in the wilds of Gombe documenting our chimpanzee cousins. She was basically the OG Tonya from Chimp Crazy before reality TV even existed, babes!
But in all seriousness, Jane gave her life to science, conservation, and showed us that chimps aren’t only cute – they’re complicated, emotional, and sometimes savage.
Rest easy, queen (dame? baroness?) and thanks for trying to make this world a better place!
