Victoria’s Secret has hired its first trans model, Valentina Sampaio. The Brazilian-born model revealed on social media that she was shooting for the lingerie company’s VS Pink brand. This seems like progress for the brand following controversial comments that the group’s chief marketing officer Ed Razek had made last year about the idea of including transgender and plus-size models in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Congrats to Valentina on making history!
