Can someone please tell me how this act will protect me as a gay man from actual discrimination?
If someone want to discriminate they will, no matter what law is passed.
Enacting a law like this will only ensure me that I will have a right to sue NOT that I will not face discrimination at all.
Yay….suing people, that will surly teach them haters not to discriminate.
