Who ever picked her song set, they did a really poor job. It was not a medley of her best work (songs or videos). I kept comparing her set to Ricky Martin’s Latin Icon medley he performed earlier in the show. He actually sang his hits. The songs we all know and enjoy. As long as I’m speaking about Martin, did you see and feel his energy? I felt he was putting on a real performance for the people there and at home. Now look at Carey’s performance. She had no energy. She walked a little and a little there. Her hip swings were barely noticeable. It was like she was barely awake. I don’t think she was even singing live. It was a flash back to her New Years Eve Performance that she couldn’t give because her singers and dancers weren’t there, and it revealed her high notes were recorded on the back track. The show would have been just as good without her. Nobody would have missed her. She gets a D, for dud, dreary, dull…
No Vision Of Love? That’s the one that started it all. But I have to give her props for still being around for over 30 years
