That’s right, this year Toronto’s week-long Pride Festival coincides with July 1, the date on which the Great White North officially became country within the British Empire. And to celebrate its continued status as queen-fearing (pun intended) Commonwealth country, all-male Toronto burlesque troupe Boylesque and DJ John Caffery are throwing a red-and-white themed Pride party cleverly entitled O Manada!
If you’ve ever wanted to watch a drag queen dressed like Margaret Trudeau receive a double double bukkake to the “Log Driver’s Waltz” (and you will be in Toronto this weekend), then this could be the night you’ve been waiting for.
