Andrew De Leon — the goth kid who auditioned for America’s Got Talent in Austin — gave an admirable performance of Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro,” especially if it’s true that he’s never sang in public before, buuuuuut here’s what the song is really supposed to sound like, courtesy of diva Maria Callas:

Why don’t CBS, FOX, and NBC exec want consumers to enjoy commercial-free TV? It’s what we want! I’m a customer and employee of Dish, and I think AutoHop is great because you can easily watch commercial-free TV. A well known consumer advocacy group, Public Knowledge, agrees that people should have the right to control how they watch TV. They’re taking a stand for consumers by creating a petition that tells CBS, FOX, and NBC media to keep their hands out of your living room and DVR. I give Andrew De Leon lots of props for being his firs time singing in public. He did a wonderful job and left me stunned at his voice. You can’t judge a book by its cover as he’s shown us that, I think he could possibly be the next Susan Boyle. There’s nothing like watching my primetime shows commercial free now that I’ve upgraded to the Hopper. I’m happy to be able to use the Auto Hop feature, which was just recently released. This option doesn’t delete or block commercials it offers you the option to skip those annoying commercials. One of my coworkers at Dish showed me how Auto Hop works which is my new favorite feature. I always fast forward too fast through the commercials sometimes, then I have to rewind back to the start of the next scene. This feature will prevent the batteries from dying so fast in my remote.
I loved seeing him perform, it was just one of those moments that takes your breath away. I hope his story holds to be true, because it’s an amazing, and inspiring one.
