The FKH8 campaign has something to say about the controversy that’s sprung up over Chick-Fil-A’s anti-gay stance, and not surprisingly it comes with a side order of middle finger. “Tell Chick-Fil-A to cluck off,” the slogan says, and — even though I’ll miss those delicious waffle fries — I think it’s time to quit the homophobic chicken chain.
They are entitled to their beliefs, but they are not entitled to force everyone else to live by their beliefs. They’ve donated millions to anti-gay legislation. They aren’t innocent.
I think it’s scary that the community is punishing a company due to their beliefs. They don’t discriminate against anyone and, if you eat there, you know they are the nicest people you will ever meet in a fast food restaurant. If you choose not to eat there, fine. But to start a campaign against them based on lies is wrong. Chick fil-a is good people who think different… should they really be punished?
am I the only one who doesn’t like FCKH8? it seems so awkward and forced.
