Emeli’s new single ‘Next To Me’, obviously sounds great; her hair looks good, her skin is flawless, her THROAT-BROACH looks dazzling, and…erm hang on, woah Sandé, don’t you be looking at my tambourine atop the piano, don’t go there don’t you dare. Come on now the soulful tambourine jam is my thing, it’s like the only thing I have over you, it’s my club-prop…you can’t have that too…what do you mean “just a few shakes”.
[sidenote; a couple of friends and I used to go to a dingy little bar in the village where this guy; the tambourine WAS his thing. I swear he used to jam out on the dance floor, tambourine-in-hand, givin’ it the old shakey-shake to Madonna, Mariah and Mary J BULGE]
