I’ll have you know that I’m sitting here stuffing my face with chocolate cake and being consoled by my yappy dog Elektra over the tragic news that everyone’s favorite yarn-haired fat-ass funny-page heroine is finally hanging up her ill-fitting skirtsuit and working-woman Reeboks… FOR THE LAST TIME.
That’s right, Cathy– whose perpetually sweat-beaded face has graced the desk of dental receptionists everywhere for the last 34(!!!) years– will exit the funny papers on October 3rd with the retirement of her eponymous creator Cathy Guisewite.
Well, we’ll always have Marmaduke. 🙁
