Takes one to know one. In a strange twist of sartorial fate, Wall Street lawyers, bankers, and hedge funders are shelling out $500 a pop for iPad cases made out of Bernie Madoff’s pants. The tech-sacks are the creation of web designer John Vaccaro, who snatched up the billionaire’s wardrobe when his estate was put up for auction to reclaim a part of the $65 billion he stole. The first cases were made from a navy Dior sweater and a Bergdorf Goodman sweater vest, with newer editions being cut from Banana Republic chinos and Murphy & Nye sail-cloth pants. Apparently all those Wall Street creepos plan to hand these iPad cases out as Christmas gifts. Happy Holidays, here’s a scrap of a criminal’s pants?
