Her country twang seems affected considering she grew up in Ontario (it’s even more pronounced than that of fellow Canadian Shania Twain), but it’s nice to hear folkie Serena Ryder‘s music playing on Top 40 radio here in Toronto. Her song “Weak In the Knees” is pretty and more importantly her album was not produced by Timbaland.
