Brad Pitt admits that he was wasted when he agreed to do Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival:
We went out together … I got up the next morning and saw, like, five empty bottles on the floor and some sort of smoking device on the floor. Then, somehow, six weeks later I was doing the film.

If my wife were borderline and I had a houseful of young children, I’d be drinking a lot too.
Judging by the trailer, the movie could be a screaming good fun if QT can strike the same rare tone he struck in “Kill Bill, Vol. 1.” If, however, the tone closer resembles the melancholy sadism of “Vol. 2,” we’re out of luck.
