This mouse has had certain nasal cells removed that make it unafraid of cats. According to Japanese researchers, fear in mice is not learned, but rather hardwired through smell. So if you take away the particular cells that trigger the fear, then the mice will cuddle with cats. So cute! (Thanks to Angie for the tip!)
