Bullett just included Tokyo-based Central Saint Martins graduate Aisling Farrell in their fashion designers to keep an eye on right now, and I think I might agree please.
I j’adore her use of clear plastic overlays and various off-white tonals that give her clothes a lux-clinical feel with those pieces under plastic casings seeming too precious and clean to fully uncover, in fear the models might BREAKFAST BARF on them ALBINO PEACOCK feathers. She spoke to Bullett of the concept for her latest collection:
“It’s based on the natural phenomenon of static electricity. My primary aim was to harness this force and the interaction between different materials at an atomic level to create a kinetic display.”
