!! OMG, new Fever Ray single and tour dates! !!

Fever Ray has announced a North American tour and released a synth-y new single called “Triangle Walks”. This is going to sound super nerdy but does anyone else hear the resemblance to Ryuichi Sakamoto’s theme song from the homoerotic World War II prisoner of war drama Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence? Whenever I hear both songs, I’m suddenly transported to a Technicolor rice paddy in 1983. (It seems the director of the official “Triangle Walks” music video had a different vision.)
Check the video above, the Rex the Dog remix of “Triangle Walks” below and Fever Ray’s North American tour dates after the jump.

Fever Ray’s 2009 North American tour dates:
September 28 – New York City @ Webster Hall
September 29 – New York City @ Webster Hall
October 1 – Montreal @ Metropolis (Pop Montreal)
October 2 – Toronto @ Kool Haus
October 3 – Chicago @ Metro
October 5 – San Francisco @ Grand Ballroom
October 7 – Los Angeles @ Henry Fonda Theater
