Morning Show host Kylie Gillies tried to draw the palm leaves overhead and bring the shade when cat goddess Naomi Campbell appeared on his show this week to promote Season 2 of The Face.
When asked what she thought about Kim and Kanye‘s recent Vogue cover, Naomi responded by saying:
“I do not want to comment, I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years and when you get a Vogue cover it’s a build in your career, it’s a stepping stone to achieve that. And you know I’m a fashion model so what more can I say.”
That last sentence is basically my response to everything — including what I say to the girl at Starbucks when she asks for my name in the morning. I dunno if I’m with Naomi on this one, but I do know that she’s getting good at not throwing phones or telling people to check their lipstick before they come and talk to her. She’s really classing it up! What a way to FAIL at properly promoting a reality show.
Kyle then asked “So you think Kim and Kanye haven’t earned the right to be on the cover?”
Naomi responded carefully, saying: “Those are your words, I’m being politically correct.
‘That’s Anna Wintour’s choice to put them on the cover of her magazine, who’s to question it.”
The restraint! Put it away, Naomi! Check out Naomi‘s interview below:
