I know this is nerdy but just so’s y’all know, there’s a black hole four million times the size of the sun in the Milky Way. So we might all die from being sucked into that before we die of killing our own planet. Happy Holidays!

HAHA When will all the doom and gloom stop. We are not destroying the planet-stop being so arrogant to think we can do that.
The only black hole we have to worry about is the one that comes to Washington DC on Jan. 20!! YIKES! Now THERE is Doom and Gloom personafide!
I hope you were joking with the ‘sucked into the black hole’ thing. We are more than 40,000 light years from the center of the galaxy. So if we suddenly flew directly there at the speed of light we wouldn’t get there for more than 40,000 years. Only things relatively near the center of the galaxy are close enough to ever get pulled into it. Most of the galaxy will continue to orbit it at a distance, ya know like the Earth does the Sun. We ain’t been sucked into that yet, has we? Oh, and we’re not going to kill our planet. We could mostly kill its ability to support large numbers of our species for a time, but the planet itself would shrug it off and the next ‘it’ species would have its day.
Really, best not to try to be nerdy if you have no idea what you’re talking about. Leave that to actual nerds please.
